 Alex McLaughlin

 July 23, 1977 - March 20, 2007

A good friend of mine, and of the rocket community, Alex McLaughlin, was found  in his home, he had past away. Alex was well known in the rocketry community not only because he was a great person and he was friends with everyone, he had so much enthusiasm for rocketry! One of Alex's favorite passion was building rockets and making EX motors. Alex was an AWESOME EX motor builder! He had built many experimental motors. Some worked and then had a few that went Buck-Wild. But that was Alex, always trying to make the best motors for the best shows. His aqua blue flame motors were well known in the rocket community. He had made some of the best motors on the West Coast, possibly in the U.S. He will truly be missed in the rocket community and everywhere else he touched someone's life. Please feel free to leave a message in my guestbook regarding Alex and any stories or favorite times you might have spent with Alex.
